Collaborating with Petaluma River Park Foundation (PRPF) to feature work
by lead artists
David Duskin & Darling Gonzalez that challenges how we
see & experience art, using a language of
color & simple materials to create infinite compositions. The pieces invite you in to come back again
& again to see the evolution. Designed to encourage us to think about
the impact of how small
changes can reshape our perspective.

HOME - Call for ARTISTS - Healdsburg

Hours:  11am-5pm -
Healdsburg Center for the Arts has RELOCATED
to a new home:  334 Center St., Healdsburg
This transition inspired the show's idea of exploring the concept of home.
With this theme, we want to celebrate & reflect on change & the longing
for stability.  The synonyms for home are many a dwelling, shelter, hearth.
Homes may have different forms: castles, cottages & huts.
Animal's homes such as nests, roosts, dens are also creative structures.
From homeland to hometown, to homegrown to home run, the words convey
our personal stories.  The Odyssey is a historic quest to return home & in modern
times we still struggle with immigration & homelessness. All media are welcome.

Year of the Tiger: Chinese Traditions in Sonoma County 1890-2022

New Exhibit:  Chinatown—it consisted of a couple blocks of board
sidewalks & modest wood buildings on Second Street between Santa Rosa Avenue & D Street. Yet, at one time it included a temple, restaurants, herb shops, stores, laundries, and homes. In California’s early Chinatowns,
including Santa Rosa’s, the temple was a symbol of cultural resilience.
In many places, the temple sat at the heart of day-to-day life. It provided
a sense of unity, a place for individual worship, reflection & played an important role maintaining traditions & observances for residents who
might be far from home.

Please Note: We strongly recommend visitors to the Museum be vaccinated. While in the galleries, properly fitted N95, KN95, KF94 or doubled cloth/surgical masks must be worn in accordance with local COVID safety guidelines. Gallery occupancy is limited to 30 people at a time to allow for social distancining.
